Processing of personal data
When you register a user account on www.aeira.no, we will store the information you provide in our database. This information includes, at a minimum, your first name and last name, email address, and a password of your choosing. Additionally, we may ask for, and store, the following information if you choose to provide it:

* Year of study
* Institution/University
* Feedback you submit to us
In the program downloaded, we log your IP address, information about your browser, login times, times and number of times you complete a case, your actions, and whether you respond correctly to diagnostic, additional examination, or non-indication in the case. We use this information to provide you with the best possible learning experience by being able to offer you reports on your progress.
We reserve the right to use your feedback for marketing purposes in a manner that also protects your privacy.
We treat this information confidentially.
Your personal information is stored with us as long as you consent to our handling of your personal information and choose to have a user account with us. If you wish to withdraw consent for the handling of personal information, you can choose to delete your user account. We will then delete your personal information immediately.
You have the right to access the personal information we have stored about you. Most of this information you can find yourself by clicking on 'User Account' after logging in. There you also have the option to correct or delete information.
If you have objections to how your personal information is processed, you have the right to complain to Datatilsynet.

Google Drive
We use Google Drive to customize documents and share them with you.
WordPress
Mailchimp sends emails, such as newsletters. Wordpress and WooCommerce create user accounts and share them with our database in Firebase. Vipps and Paypal process transactions.
Firebase
We store user information such as name, email, university, and year here.
Storage of personal information
If you do not request us to stop using personal information, we will retain personal information for as long as you have an active user account with us. Personal information collected based on your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent or delete your user profile.
Your rights
In connection with our collection, storage, and use of personal information, you have the right to request access, rectification, or deletion. Furthermore, you have the right to restrict our processing, object to our processing, and to transfer personal data elsewhere.

If you wish to exercise your rights, we require you to confirm your identity by providing additional information. We do this to ensure that third parties do not gain access to personal information.
